Delivery Details

Once your order and payment are received the goods will be packaged and dispatched to you within 24 hours.

A courier company will deliver the package to your door within 1-3 working days from the time of dispatch (this may be longer for rural deliveries). We send the parcel as fast as we can - if you require something urgently please contact us and this can be arranged.

Please note deliveries only take place on weekdays i.e. Monday to Friday. There are no deliveries on Saturday, Sunday or Public Holidays.

The address supplied must be a street address as our courier will not deliver to any Post Office box, and we will not deliver to any address which seems suspicious.

The party supplies are packaged carefully to ensure they arrive in the same condition that they left our premises. If you feel your goods do not arrive in good condition please contact us immediately on 0800 2POPPY (0800 276779) or info@poppyseed.co.nz


Delivery Costs

Auckland City - Orewa, Helensville, Titirangi, Pukekohe, Drury, Howick and everything inbetween. $7.00 per order.  Waiheke Island orders will be posted through NZ Post.

North Island - everything in the North Island outside of the Auckland area $9.95 per order

South Island - everywhere in the South Island $9.95 per order

If you are ordering something small ie it could fit in a courier bag, please call us on 0800 276 779 and we can organise cheaper shipping charges for you.

At the shopping cart the courier cost will be automatically added to the order based on the delivery address.

Within 7 days of delivery, you may return any item you purchase in new condition, unopened and in original packaging  for a store credit or swap them for other goods, less shipping costs. 

There are no refunds are issued simply because you have changed your mind, or you didn't use the goods.

Send  an email to info@poppyseed.co.nz quoting your name, reference number and reason for return. Any return courier or postage charges are at your own expense.  We will pay the return shipping cost if the return is a result of our error.

Please note you need to include your receipt with all returns.  No credits or changes are possible without a receipt proving date of purchase.



Your privacy is very important to Poppyseed. With that in mind, we have established and implemented information handling practices that we believe are consistent with the highest standards and best practices of organizations doing business on the Internet. Poppyseed does not collect personally identifiable information on our website, such as your name, address, e-mail address or telephone number, without your knowledge. Such information is collected only when you knowingly and voluntarily submit it to us (as, for example, when you contact us via e-mail). Poppyseed uses such voluntarily submitted information for the purposes for which it was submitted.

When you place an order Poppyseed will ask you to provide certain information about yourself, such as your name, mailing address, or e-mail address. The personal information you submit when placing your order is treated as confidential. We use this information to process your transaction, and we share the information with Visa, Mastercard, Paypal etc. in order to process your order.


 Trends, Tracking and Sharing Information

Poppyseed uses standard software for monitoring statistical information such as how many visitors we have to our websites and what countries they are coming from. These statistics are viewed on an aggregate basis and help us get general overviews of customer trends. We do not look at individual customer data. Personal information specific to each Vendor's sales is treated as strictly confidential and will only be reviewed or examined in the event of a dispute, claim, error or customer request.



Poppyseed uses stringently tested technologies to ensure the security of information transmitted via our web site and maintained in our possession. When you place your order "checkout" you will see a lock icon appear on the status bar of your browser. This indicates that the data that is submitted is encrypted while in transit and so cannot be viewed by anyone other than us. In addition, when we receive that data, it is stored on a separate location to the web server so that it can only be accessed by us.



Our site may provide links to other sites. When you click on one of these links, you are leaving our site and entering another site that we do not control and for which we cannot be responsible. You should carefully review the privacy statements or policies on any other site that you visit because those privacy statements or policies will apply to your visit to that site and may be very different from our policy.
